Released as the successor of the classic NH-D14 air cooler, the Noctua NH-D15 features 6 heatpipes and two NF-A15 140 mm fans with PWM support, also including high-end NT-H1 thermal paste. With a noise level of only 19.2 dB, this premium cooler is now 30% off, down to US$99.95 from a US$142.18 list price.
More than just another air cooler, the Overnight NH-D15 is a premium air cooling solution that comes with a dual-tower design that integrates 6 heatpipes, a pair of NF-A15 140 mm fans with both low-noise adaptors and PWM support, as well as NT-H1 thermal paste and a mounting system that provides compatibility with multiple Intel and AMD sockets, including LGA2066 and AM5. Amazon has just made it more tempting by pushing the US$142.18 price down by 30%, so those interested can get it for US$99.95.
As expected, the Noctua NH-D15 is a popular CPU cooling fan and its general Amazon rating is impressive. The 4.8/5 score is the result of 90% perfect ratings and 7% 4/5 user reviews, out of a total of 9,408 assessments. The breakdown by feature starts at 4.4, a score awarded for the ease of installation. However, the remaining five attributes start at 4.7 (for the mounting system), and continue with three 4.8-ratings (quality of material, noise level, and value for money). The breakdown tops at 4.9, a score awarded for the gaming performance of this cooling solution.
Available since mid-2014, the Noctua NH-D15 still has a few years ahead, although the latest high-end processors from both Intel and AMD require liquid cooling solutions. The retail package of the Noctua NH-D15 includes a metal case-badge, two NA-RC7 low-noise adaptors, two NF-A15 PWM fans, a NA-YC1 4-pin PWM y-cable, the NT-H1 high-grade thermal compound, as well as the SecuFirm2 mounting kit.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I’ve been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
