On America’s Got Talent, Weezer and the Detroit Youth Chorus astound Simon Cowell.

Weezer is having a big week: first, they announce the “Indie Rock Roadtrip” (a summer tour with a rotating lineup of Modest Mouse and Momma, Future Islands and Joyce Manor, and Spoon and White Reaper), and then Rivers Cuomo duets with a TikToker and invites him to riff “Buddy Holly” live onstage this summer. Weezer appeared on America’s Got Talent last night, performing “What Happens After You?” by SZNZ: Autumn and “Beverly Hills” by Make Believe with the support of the Detroit Youth Chorus. Simon Cowell praised the performance, calling the set “absolutely wonderful” and “magic.”
