Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs responds to Rihanna headlining the Super Bowl halftime show.

After losing in the Super Bowl last year, the Kansas City Chiefs are determined to win it this time. Everybody in the nation tunes in to see the NFL’s championship game because of the pomp and circumstance surrounding it.

 

The halftime performance, which honours football’s yearly tradition, comprises legendary performers from every genre and is a special aspect of the game. In association with Roc Nation and Apple Music, Rihanna was revealed as the halftime performer for Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona.

 

Patrick Mahomes, the quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, discussed his feelings over Rihanna’s selection as the Super Bowl halftime singer with Carrington Harrison during his weekly check-in on the “The Drive” programme on 610 Sports Radio.

 

Rihanna has many bangers, according to Mahomes. “Brittany (Mahomes) was very enthusiastic (her performing at the Super Bowl Halftime show). She is also legendary. We’re hoping to attend the game, record it, and watch it later. I’ve never met Rihanna, but she’s one of the best at what she does.

 

Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and The Weeknd all performed at the halftime of Mahomes’ two Super Bowl appearances, while Shakira and Jennifer Lopez did so in Miami.

 

Tommy Townsend, a punter for the Chiefs, was similarly interested in the Rihanna news. He expressed his opinions over how she handled the football in the publicity shot she was wearing for the unveiling.
