Plan B, Brad Pitt’s production company, is working on a sequel to “Beetlejuice.”

Plan B, the production business of Hollywood star Brad Pitt, has joined the cast of ‘Beetlejuice 2,’ giving the film a fresh lease on life at Warner Bros.

The sequel is still in the early stages of development, according to deadline.com, with the storey still to be developed. At this time, no further attachments have been revealed.

The ghosts of a departed couple are plagued by an intolerable family who has moved into their house, hiring a nasty spirit of the same name to force them away in Tim Burton’s classic film ‘Beetlejuice.’ The original starred Michael Keaton, with Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder, and others filling out the group.

Warren Skaaren’s 1988 Warner Bros. release of the picture, which he adapted from a tale by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson, grossed almost $75 million worldwide and earned an Oscar for Best Make-up in 1989, as well as two BAFTA Award nominations and other awards.

Pitt co-founded Plan B in 2001 with Brad Grey and Jennifer Aniston, and he now serves as CEO alongside co-presidents Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner. Jon Stewart’s Irresistible, Miranda July’s Kajillionaire, Lee Isaac Chung’s Oscar-nominated Minari, and Barry Jenkins’ series The Underground Railroad for Amazon Prime Video are among its most recent releases.

Andrew Dominik’s Netflix picture Blonde, in which Ana de Armas plays Marilyn Monroe; Maria Schrader’s She Said for Universal; Gaz Alazraki’s The Father of the Bride for HBO Max; and Sarah Polley’s Women Talking for United Artists Releasing are among the next titles it has planned for distribution. Plan B is also working on the next feature by Parasite director Bong Joon Ho for Warner Bros., among other projects.
