Portia de Rossi’s “Ally McBeal” co-star Anne Heche claimed she “warned” her against pursuing her ex-colleague Ellen DeGeneres.

During a 2021 episode of her “Better Together” podcast with Heather Duffy, Anne Heche recalled asking Portia de Rossi not to pursue her ex-girlfriend, Ellen DeGeneres.

Heche recalled how she had “warned” de Rossi in the YouTube clip against starting a relationship with the comedian. Before their three-year relationship ended in a public breakup in 2000, Heche and DeGeneres dated for three years. The actress experienced a mental breakdown the next day.

Heche told Duffy, “I warned her, by the way. Portia even questioned me regarding Ellen.

She went on: “Because I appeared with Portia on “Ally McBeal,” she attended my wedding to my ex-husband Coleman “Coley” Laffoon in 2001. Even so, Portia declared, “I’m going to go after Ellen.””

THE DEATH OF ANNE HECHE WAS DEEMED AN “ACCIDENT” CORONER

Heche and DeGeneres were prominent members of the LGBTQ community at the time of their partnership since they were one of the few openly homosexual couples in Hollywood.

Guess what, girl, that poster child has already been taken, so you won’t be the poster child, Heche added. Additionally, it wasn’t a fantastic location, but yours won’t be any simpler.

A RETROSPECTIVE VIEW OF ANNE HECHE’S RELATIONSHIP WITH ELLEN DEGENERES

Red flag, red flag, red flag! I’m telling you right now! Heche recalled informing de Rossi.

Heche defended her “reality” in the relationship and claimed, “I have been cancelled since the day I was born.

Heche cracked a joke about Ellen’s history, saying, “I realised that Ellen drove a Porsche… and then she married one. I simply felt it was so dumb since they were so noisy that all she used to do was drive Porsches, which she collected.

Heche claimed to have been “cancelled” from the entertainment world for ten years when she told Page Six last year that the failed romance had done more than just put her on the outs in Hollywood.

In response, she claimed, “I didn’t do a studio picture for 10 years.” “I was sacked from a $10 million movie deal and never appeared in a studio film.”

DeGeneres, for her part, marked the occasion on Tuesday and sent the following message on Instagram: “Being loved is beneficial. To comprehend it is profound.”

A coroner’s report may only state one of the following five causes of death: homicide, suicide, natural, accident, or undetermined.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, under California state law, the medical examiner-coroner is required to look into any sudden deaths that may have been caused by homicide, suicide, or accident.

After being pronounced brain dead two days prior, the New York Times bestselling novelist was “peacefully taken off life support” on Sunday, August 14. Her two children with her ex-partner James Tupper and ex-husband Coley Laffoon are still alive: Homer and Atlas.

After she passed away, the LAPD closed the inquiry into the car accident.

In the 1980s, Heche achieved fame on small-screen soap operas. She played twins on “Another World,” for which she won a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards.

She became well-known in the late 1990s for her leading performances in Gus Van Sant’s version of “Psycho,” “Six Days, Seven Nights,” and “Donnie Brasco” with Harrison Ford.
