What has changed with these new AirPods Pro models? The gist of it is that they sound better, with crisper highs and deeper bass. They are powered by the new H2 chip, which has superior three-dimensional sound, longer battery life (up to six hours), and better noise cancellation.

 

According to Apple, the AirPods Pro provide up to twice as much noise suppression as the original device (which I regularly use while mowing the lawn, and works quite well). Additionally, they contain a “Adaptive Transparence” feature that actively lowers the volume of loud noises in the environment, such as sirens or power tools.

You can easily adjust the volume on the second-generation AirPods Pro by swiping your finger along the stem. In addition to the three sizes that were previously available, they additionally come with an extra-small silicon tip.

 

You’ll like this function if you frequently misplace your earbuds: Find My support. The cover contains a tiny speaker that makes a sound when the Find My app prompts it to.
