Prominent Texas lawyer Tony Buzbee has announced that he is representing 120 individuals who have come forward with sexual abuse claims against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs. Buzbee stated that these claims have undergone a rigorous vetting and corroboration process. Shockingly, 25 of the new clients were minors at the time of the alleged abuse, with the youngest victim being only 9 years old.
According to Buzbee, the alleged abuse took place in various locations, including New York, California, Florida, and Atlanta, spanning back to 1991. The lawyer revealed that the victims were aspiring to pursue careers in the entertainment industry, with promises of stardom being used as a lure. Instead, they claim to have been subjected to sexual abuse and are now disenchanted with the entertainment industry.
Buzbee detailed some of the allegations, including one case where a 9-year-old child was allegedly abused by Combs and others during an audition at his Bad Boy offices in Manhattan. Another client, a boy hoping to break into the entertainment business, was allegedly coerced into performing oral sex on Combs in a private setting away from his parents. Additionally, a 15-year-old girl was purportedly drugged and raped by Combs at a party in New York City.
Combs, who was recently indicted on racketeering and sex trafficking charges, has denied all allegations through his lawyer, Erica Wolff. In a statement, Wolff emphasized that Combs categorically denies any claims of sexual abuse, including those involving minors. She expressed confidence in Combs’ innocence and his ability to prove it in court based on evidence.
Buzbee, known for representing victims of the tragic crowd crush at Travis Scott’s Astroworld concert, revealed that his firm has received over 3,200 allegations related to Combs in recent days. He described the acts complained of as “mindboggling” and characterized them as debauchery and depravity perpetrated by powerful individuals against minors and the vulnerable.
As Combs awaits trial in a federal detention center in Brooklyn, he is also facing multiple civil lawsuits, including one filed by his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Ventura’s lawsuit, filed last November, detailed allegations of forced sexual acts and the use of drugs during encounters with Combs. The indictment against Combs, unsealed in September, revealed the seizure of various items, including baby oil, lubricant, narcotics, and firearms, during raids on his homes in Los Angeles and Miami Beach.
