To honor the late “Legend Never Die” rapper, SOHH replayed all of his epic albums. At the end of the music sesh, we’ve collected our top five songs that echo the 2010s Soundcloud era.

These songs blended well with the production and hip-hop styles with lyrical nuances and aesthetics in emo rock, but they certified Juice WRLD as the father of emo rap:

Lucid Dreams

This is the song where Juice declared evil girls had the prettiest face. Talk about the heartbreak song for the ages — if you had your heart broken, this song hits differently between tears.

All Girls Are The Same

The melody that started the movement, “All Girls Are The Same,” was his first song to debut on the Billboard Hot 100 and attributed to the reason Juice signed to Interscope Records label.

Fighting Demons

This song was leaked in 2020 and later appeared in his posthumous album, Legends Never Die. Play this on rotation at your own risk.

Flaws and Sins

Who said there wasn’t a little romance in emo rap? “Flaws and Sins” are from the second album, Death Race For Love, and perhaps less about depression and more about being in love and in a relationship.

Lean Wit Me
