The biggest theatre chain in the world, AMC Theatres, is re-releasing “Grease” to celebrate Olivia Newton-John.
The renowned 1978 motion picture musical will start playing in 135 AMC theatres throughout the nation on Friday. All tickets will cost $5, with $1 from each sale going to AMC Cares, a philanthropic organisation that supports breast cancer research.

Adam Aron, CEO of AMC, tweeted about the promotion and highlighted how cheap the tickets were.
He added, “To remember the late Olivia Newton-John: this weekend, many of our U.S. theatres will showcase her iconic 1978 blockbuster movie Grease, again on the big screen. “A $5 admission fee that includes a $1 donation to breast cancer research through our nonprofit AMC Cares.”
