BLACKPINK’s Rosé has just broken more than one YouTube record with her smash hit “APT.”!
On November 23 at around 3 a.m. KST, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ music video for their hit collab single “APT.” surpassed 400 million views on YouTube. The song was originally released on October 18 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took just over 35 days and 14 hours to reach the milestone.
In addition to becoming the fastest music video of 2024—by any artist of any genre—to hit 400 million views, “APT.” has set two new K-pop records on YouTube.
Not only is “APT.” now the fastest music video by a K-pop soloist ever to surpass 400 million views, but it has also become the fastest music video by a female K-pop artist to reach the milestone. Notably, Rosé also held the previous record, which was set by her group BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” (which took approximately 43 days to hit the 400 million mark) back in 2020.
Congratulations to Rosé!
