Samsung addresses a screen imperfection on the Galaxy S23 Ultra that is affecting some users.

Samsung clarifies the display blemish and explains why it is not a problem.

It wouldn’t be a true significant smartphone release if there weren’t some issues that surfaced on the internet. Some consumers appear to be experiencing issues with their Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra devices, particularly in the bottom right corner of the display. If you look closely, you’ll notice a slight flaw beneath the glass, which, as you might think, is creating some concern given the smartphone’s high price tag. Now, Samsung has officially weighed in, offering details on the “problem” and attempting to reassure the public.

Users may notice a small imperfection in the bottom right-hand corner of the display if a “strong light” is shown on the region, according to the Samsung UK Twitter account. The business stated that this is not a flaw in the phone or the display panel, but rather the consequence of a lamination process used by the company for its displays, which bonds numerous layers together to prevent debris or liquids from entering. Regrettably, as a result, it leaves a blemish that appears to be “squashed/pressed,” but the manufacturer assures customers that this is not a product flaw.

While it is reassuring to know that this blemish is not a malfunction, others may be dissatisfied with this response, especially given that this handset costs more than $1,000. Nevertheless, for the most part, there isn’t much you can do unless you switch your phone with one that doesn’t have the mark. Please let us know if you own a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and if you see this on your device in the comments section below.
