Samsung has confirmed the release date, price, and wall charger bundle for the Galaxy A23 5G.

After teasing us with an online spec sheet two weeks ago, Samsung officially revealed the launch details for its latest 5G budget phone, the Galaxy A23 5G, today. The device will be available in Taiwan next month, with early buyers receiving a few extras, including a wall charger. Along with the Galaxy A23 5G, Samsung plans to bring the Galaxy A13 5G to Taiwan next month.

From September 16, the Galaxy A23 5G will be available in Taiwan at the Samsung Smart Pavilion, Samsung Mall, and retail partners. The phone will be available with either 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. The two Galaxy A23 5G variants will be priced at NT$8,990 ($298) and NT$9,990 ($331).

In addition to the Galaxy A23 5G, Samsung announced that the Galaxy A13 5G will be available in Taiwan at the Samsung Smart Hall, Samsung Mall, and other retail locations. Beginning September 1, the phone will be available with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage for NT$6,990 ($231) and NT$7,990 ($265), respectively.

For a limited time, Galaxy A13 5G and A23 5G wall charger bundles will be available.
As many of you are aware, Samsung no longer includes a wall charger with its latest Galaxy smartphones due to regulations and environmental concerns. Fortunately, early Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A23 5G purchasers will not be affected by this omission.

Customers who order the Galaxy A13 5G before September 30 will receive a free official Samsung 15W wall charger. Customers who purchase the Galaxy A23 5G before October 15 will be eligible for a similar offer. The 15W charger costs NT$490 ($16) when purchased separately.

In Taiwan, Samsung will offer three colour options for the Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A23 5G. The A13 will be available in black, blue, and white, while the A23 will be available in black, blue, and peach.

Despite their similar sizes, the Galaxy A13 5G and Galaxy A23 5G are not identical. For example, the Galaxy A13 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, whereas the Galaxy A23 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 SoC.
