Savannah Guthrie, who has COVID, is mocked by Megyn Kelly, who says, ‘She’s received all the immunisations.’

Megyn Kelly has little sympathy for her former co-host Savannah Guthrie, who was fired from NBC’s “Today” show on Tuesday after testing positive for COVID-19 during the morning broadcast.

“This is supposedly Savannah’s third bout of COVID, and I guarantee you she’s had all the immunizations and boosters because you won’t be able to go into 30 Rock without them,” Kelly, who held her own hourlong morning show on NBC from 2017 to 2018, stated on her SiriusXM podcast Tuesday.

“There’s no way NBC won’t require all boosters,” Kelly remarked. “This is [Guthrie’s] third COVID match.”

“All of it is such a perfect indication of how the left — and especially the left in New York — continues to live.”

Kelly appeared perplexed by the fact that people still test positive for COVID-19.

“I mean, seriously, at this point? … is COVID still being tested for? ” she explained.

“It’s incredible to me. These are leftists, and it amazes me that the leftists are still held captive by COVID…”

She added: “I don’t test for COVID anymore. “Who is still testing for COVID?”

Kelly predicted that “Today” weatherman Al Roker will appear on the broadcast with a protective mask over his face.

“I’m betting dollars to donuts that [Al] Roker will be on set tomorrow with an N95 all day…,” she joked.

NBC has been contacted for comment.

Guthrie’s exit from “Today” in the middle of the broadcast occurred amid significant worry among viewers about co-host Hoda Kotb, who has been missing for many days without explanation.

“Today,” co-host Craig Melvin said Wednesday that “Hoda is OK” and that she has been away due to a “family health situation.”

Guthrie, 51, took her place alongside temporary co-host Sheinelle Jones at 7 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday. Guthrie, though, was absent when the show returned from a commercial break at 7:30.

Jones then informed the audience that Guthrie had tested positive for COVID-19.

“It’s been a fascinating morning for us. Savannah, as previously stated, left early. She wasn’t feeling well, so she took a COVID test, which came up positive, according to Jones.

Kelly is a 52-year-old former Fox News primetime star who left NBC after a tumultuous 21-month period in which she sparked outrage by defending the use of “blackface,” interviewing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, and alienating celebrities such as Jane Fonda, who did not like being asked about her plastic surgery.

In early 2018, NBC parent firm Comcast negotiated a $69 million buyout of Kelly’s multiyear contract, completing their divorce with the star, who has since resurfaced with a SiriusXM satellite radio show.
