Shania Twain’s “Not Just a Girl” trailer talks about her alleged cheating ex-husband.

In her upcoming Netflix documentary Not Just A Girl, Shania Twain seems to talk about Robert “Mutt” Lange’s alleged affair with another woman. Read on to learn more.

Shania Twain is now going to tell her side of the story.

In the first trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary Not Just A Girl, which came out on July 20, the famous 56-year-old country singer goes into great detail about the hard times she has been through over the course of her legendary career.

And it looks like nothing is off the table, including Shania’s ex-husband Robert “Mutt” Lange’s alleged affair with her best friend Marie-Anne Thiébaud in 2008, which ended their 14-year marriage.

In a 2011 Today interview, Meredith Vieira says, “Your best friend had an affair with your husband, which led to your divorce.” This clip is in the trailer. Then it cuts to a different clip of Shania sitting on an ottoman in front of a beautiful lake in the present day.

Shania says in the clip, “It was just as hard as losing my parents.” “I thought I’d never be able to talk again. I was sure that was it.”

It’s not clear whether Shania’s comments are about her ex-husband or not.

E! News has tried to get a comment from Robert, but they haven’t heard back yet.

Back in 2008, he told People, “It’s not true” that he was in a relationship with Marie-Anne. Soon after, Marie-Anne also told the outlet that they were not having an affair, adding, “You can’t believe everything you read in the press.”

Shania has talked about her personal life since they broke up in a number of interviews and in her memoir, From This Moment On, which came out in 2011.

Frédéric Thiébaud, who used to be married to Marie-Anne, turned out to be the man who helped Shania find love again. In 2011, they got married.

In addition to the alleged affair, Not Just A Girl “traces her emergence as a crossover artist, defying the stereotypes of what it took to be a country star, and takes viewers through her vision during Come On Over to become a global pop phenomenon,” according to a PR Newswire press release.

The documentary, which comes out on July 26, also has interviews with Lionel Richie, Diplo, Avril Lavigne, and Orville Peck, among others.

Shania will also release a compilation album on July 26. It will be called Not Just a Girl (The Highlights).

Here is where you can watch the trailer.
