Skales claims he inspired Burna Boy before their 2017 collaboration

Flaunt Weeekly Nigerian singer Skales has revealed that he played a role in inspiring fellow musician Burna Boy, citing their 2017 collaboration on the remix of his hit song Temper.

In a recent interview, Skales explained that before their collaboration, Burna Boy had not yet achieved a major hit song. He acknowledged that Burna Boy has also been a source of inspiration for him, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in the music industry.

Skales stated, “I inspired Burna Boy. He will agree with me. We probably admire each other and decide to work together.” He added, “As at then, Burna Boy had no hot song before I featured him on Temper Remix. It was after our collaboration that he started excelling.”

Skales clarified that he is not trying to take credit for Burna Boy’s successbut rather highlighting the mutual inspiration and support that exists between them.
