Snl24 | Music maestro: Kellerman bags third Grammy!

MUSICIAN Wouter Kellerman has won another Grammy.

This is his third win after claiming the prestigious award twice before. He won in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category for his latest album, TriveniFeaturing Chandrika Tandon and Eru Matsumoto.

The awards were held on Sunday, 2 February, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, USA. When accepting his award, Kellerman thanked everyone who was part of the album.

“Thank you so much. This is amazing. This is a testament to the fact that music has the power to unite and to heal. Thank you, Chandrika, Eru, and all the musicians on the album. Thank you to Tholsi, my best friend and business partner. Most importantly, to all of you, I’m grateful to share this moment with you,” he said.

Eru said she was glad the album did what it was supposed to do.

“Thank you so much, Recording Academy. Thank you to everyone who believed in this album and project. This project was born out of the passion to heal and transform ourselves with the power of music,” she said.

Chandrababu Tandon Said: “Music is life, music is light, and music is laughter. Let’s all be surrounded by love, light, and laughter. And thank you for the music, thanks to everyone who makes music.”

Kellerman previously won Best New Age Album in 2015 and Best Global Music Performance for And theyFeaturing Zakes for humans and wealth Sikode in 2022.

This was his fifth nomination.

Other winners included Beyoncé, who won Album of The Year, Best Country Album, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for Cowboy Carter.

Kendrick Lamar won Song of The Year, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance, and Record of The Year for Not Like Us.

Sabrina Carpenter took Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for Short n’ Sweet and Espressorespectively.
