DJ Nkanyezi Kubeka’s miraculous escape from death.
TOP influencer and DJ Nkanyezi Kubeka is grateful to be alive.
This is after he survived a car accident.
The Joburg-based musician said he has been in so much pain.
The influencer told Daily Sun that the accident happened in Rosebank at about 4am on Monday, 23 September.
He said they were coming from the Delicious Festival and after-party celebrations.
The musician took to social media on Saturday, 29 September, to announce that he was admitted to Netcare Milpark Hospital in Joburg.
“The driver of the other car didn’t stop at the lights, and we tried to avoid him. That’s when we lost control, and it was three of us in the car, and our ride is beyond repairs,” he said.
Nkanyezi said that he was tired and drained as well.
“It’s draining me emotionally and mentally. My whole back and legs are cracking.
“I fractured my left leg and am struggling to walk or sit. I was discharged and booked for bed rest,” he said.

Nkanyezi said that his right hand is painful.
He said that even his friends also sustained minor injuries and are grateful for that.
“I wish to thank everyone from family, friends, and my music supporters for their warm well wishes and prayers. The love and support I have been receiving has been truly overwhelming,” he said.
The musician said his phone had been ringing every minute this past week.
“I guess it’s days like these when you realise how things can go from good to bad in a second. I am busy with new sounds as we speak.”
Nkanyezi said he is currently in the studio working on new music for summer 2024 and 2025.
“It’s a fascinating time for me as a DJ. I will use this time to focus on improving and working on my projects,” he said.
