Sonos customers have been waiting for a lower-cost subwoofer since the first hints of one appeared late last year, and now WinFuture.de has provided us with some images for a closer look at the device.
The Verge first revealed the Sub Mini’s design several months ago, and these marketing images closely resemble our original rendering. As seen in the images above, it has a large cutout that appears to resemble the port in Sonos’ larger, $749 Sub, as well as an overall height that is closer to the Sonos One speakers.
The images don’t provide many details, specifications, or a release date; however, as WinFuture points out, these marketing images suggest that, after a delay, it could ship between October and December. The leaks show the Sonos Sub Mini in white and black, alongside other Sonos products such as One speakers and the Ray and Beam soundbars, implying that multiple bundles are in the works.
