A highly exciting poster was produced earlier to make people psyched about the announcement and to remember when the programme would air.

The program’s executive producer Alex Kurtzman said they intended the poster to convey the new season’s theme. The poster was meant to evoke feelings of nostalgia, discovery, and hope, as well as a sense of adventure.

After the programme was first announced on May 20, 2020, the hype was overwhelming and several video snippets were uploaded. Kurz Nach der Ankündigung, Kurtzman signed a five-year deal with CBS to continue the Star Trek series and produce mini-series, animated series, and other projects.

Although manufacturing has slowed owing to covid-19, it was still underway in September 2020. The second season of Strange New Worlds is already in production, according to director Jonathan Frakes, and will air on Paramount+ in November 2021.

The creators also posted a short video once the production was completed in autumn 2021. The creators published this video to get fans psyched about the upcoming programme and thank them for their continued support.

‘Star Trek: Strange New World’

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds follows the crew of the USS Enterprise and Captain Christopher Pike on a galactic adventure. Spock, Number One, and Pike star in this prequel to Star Trek: The Original Series. Strange New Worlds producer Henry Meyers joked that “The Cage” (1965) should be regarded as the series’ pilot, making it “the largest pilot series in television history.”

As executive producer Akiva Goldsman said to Variety in May 2020, “We aim to bring back some classic principles of Trek, to be positive, and to deliver more episodes.” “Of course, we’ll start working on the encoded nature of the character and narrative development,” they said. But I think our tales will be more definitive than Discovery or Picard’s.

Alonso called the programme “the traditional manner of Star Trek” since the “stories have always been delivered the same way.” “ As a consequence, we’ll have more opportunity to view new aliens and learn about other cultures.”

According to writer Aleka Cooper to The Hollywood Reporter in April 2021, the original series was “subtly more liberal — not in the context of politics, but this notion may be more fluid.” Robert Bloch, for example, wrote horror shows. “Or Harlan Ellison’s ‘City on the Edge of Forever,’” he said.

“Then came comedies like ‘Shore Leave’ and ‘The Trouble with Tribbles.’” So Henry Myers and I are trying to fill that demand. Like me, many of you like serialised narratives. Strange New Worlds is a monthly adventure with serialised character arcs.”
