Bill Horn, the publicist’s husband, revealed the devastating news that Scout had passed suddenly at the age of 48 on September 12.

 

After his passing on September 11, Tiffani Theissen posted a heartfelt memorial to her friend.

 

She stated in an Instagram post on September 12 that “This family needs a lot of love right now.” We are completely heartbroken because “my lovely friend Scout left this world way too soon.”

 

He was one of those people that always made you feel unique and loved, and boy did he love BIG. His heart was the biggest. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone. It’s hard for me to articulate how I am feeling because I’m not sure I can truly realise that he is gone.

 

As she stated in her post, Simone and Boz’s father Bill and Scout’s mother Nana are “crushed and heartbroken and need so much support and love right now.” Tiffani also asked that people express their love to them.

 

Other famous people sent their sympathies in reaction to her post.

 

Hilarie Burton, a former employee of One Tree Hill, expressed her sorrow in a tweet to Tiffani, writing, “Oh no. Tiffani I’m so sorry. Sending love to you and your family and Bill and the kids.” Jenna Dewan also expressed her sympathy, writing, “My heart is just broken for you.. all our family is here for you in any way you need.”
