Steps musical Here & Now to arrive in London as part of a nationwide tour

A jukebox musical featuring hits from the pop group Steps‘ is set to embark on a tour of the UK and Ireland next year – including six nights at London’s New Wimbledon Theatre.

The cast of Here & Now will begin their tour in Aylesbury in August 2025, before stops in ManchesterGlasgow and Dublinas well as London.

The musical is currently playing at the Alexandra in Birmingham until November 30, 2024, after debuting earlier this month.

A synopsis for the musical reads: “Welcome to seaside superstore Better Best Bargains, where it’s Friday night, the vibe is right, and everyone’s dancing in the aisles.

“But when Caz discovers the shelves are stocked with lies and betrayal, the summer of love she and her friends dreamed of suddenly feels like a tragedy. Have they all lost their chance of a ‘happy ever after’? Or does love have other plans in store…”

The stage show has been made in partnership with Steps and features their classic hits including Stomp, Tragedy, and 5, 6, 7, 8. The musical was written by Shaun Kitchener and is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh.

Tickets are available now via ATG tickets and start at £15.

Casting for the tour is yet to announced announced.

With 14 top five singles, four number one albums, 22 million record sales, 500 million streams, and 11 sold-out national arena tours under their belt, Steps – which comprises Claire Richards, Faye Tozer, Ian “H” Watkins, Lee Latchford-Evans, and Lisa Scott-Lee – are one of the most successful mixed-sex pop groups the UK has ever produced.

  • Newcastle Theatre Royal – October 28 to November 2
  • London New Wimbledon Theatre – November 4 to 9
  • Nottingham Theatre Royal – November 11 to 16
  • Sheffield Lyceum – November 18 to 22
  • Liverpool Empire Theatre – November 25 to 29
  • Theatre Royal Brighton – December 2 to 13
  • Stockton Globe – December 15 to 28.
