Stone Island has unveiled the latest edition of its Stone Island Sound project, strengthening its relationship with underground scenes, club figures and culture.
A slick force within contemporary fashion and music, the Italian sportswear label lends its focus to innovative experimentation. Bouncing back from January’s defining runway debut and a collaboration with Frieze Focus, Stone Island will head over to Turin’s leading avante-garde festival C2C, curating its own stage this upcoming weekend. Hosting performances from the likes of A.G. Cook, Billy Woods, Dean Blunt and Code9the brand directly commits to its core mantra: ‘Community As A Form Of Research.’
To accompany its latest ventures, Stone Island Sound will incorporate seasonal playlists, monthly releases and archive recordings of live performances in one space. Inviting the likes of John Glacier and Yaeji to curate a soundtrack for Stone Island community members, the initiative forms a rapport between artist and listener, championing alternative influences, styles and material.
Available to stream via Apple Music and Spotify, Stone Island Sound opens up a new set of opportunities for the cross-generational label, building a roster of current and visionary talent.
