T-Pain Celebrated As Tallahassee Street Is Renamed T-Pain Lane

T-Pain recently gained attention after Tallahassee recognized him for his contributions to the music industry, which helped put his hometown on the map.

On Sunday, November 10, he received the keys to the city from Mayor John Dailey.

During the ceremony, a section of Pasco Street, where T-Pain used to walk as a child from Nims Middle School to the Walker Ford Community Center, was renamed T-Pain Lane.

“Today, I had the incredible honor of presenting @TPain with the Key to the City in recognition of his contributions to music and his ongoing commitment to this community,” Dailey wrote via X.
