Taylor Swift has announced The Eras Tour, which will take her to her first live shows since 2018.

Taylor Swift fans were well aware that their idol would soon announce a tour to support “Midnights,” her chart-topping tenth album, which has dominated radio and record charts worldwide.

Swift will kick off The Eras Tour on March 18 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Other stadium stops on the 27-date tour include Las Vegas, Arlington, Texas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Los Angeles, where the U.S. leg concludes on August 5.

Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, and Haim are among the opening acts.
Tickets for all dates will go on sale on November 18 at 10 a.m. (local time).
Capital One cardholders have access to a presale from November 15 to 17.

Swift is taking part in Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan programme, which allows fans to register for a presale until November 9 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Ticket prices will range from $49 to $449, with VIP packages ranging from $199 to $899.

Swift’s first live performance since her “Reputation” stadium tour in 2018, which took her across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Japan.

Swift has released three albums since that 53-date tour, in addition to “Midnights”: the synth-pop heavy “Lover,” as well as a pair of folk-centric releases heavy on storytelling, “Folklore” and “Evermore.”
Taylor Swift returns to pop with the poetic ‘Midnights,’ her most personal album to date.

Swift’s plans to tour in support of “Lover,” which was released in August 2019, were thwarted by the pandemic, which means she has four albums that she has never performed live.
Swift’s 13-track “Midnights” album (plus seven additional songs on the “3 a.m. Edition”) broke numerous records in its first week of release.

According to Luminate, the data company that services Billboard, the album soared to No. 1 on Billboard’s 200 album chart with the biggest sales week for any album in nearly seven years, earning 1.57 million equivalent album units in the United States.

In addition to being the best-selling album of the year, “Midnights” had the biggest sales week for an album since, well, Swift’s “Reputation” in 2017.

Taylor Swift feeds the fan base by releasing seven new songs from ‘Midnights.’

Swift made more chart history on Monday, becoming the first artist in history to hold the top ten spots on the Billboard Hot 100. (keeping in mind that record companies used to stagger singles releases).

The singer was floored by the achievement, which she shared on social media.

Her pop swirl of internal scrutiny, “Anti-Hero,” takes the top spot, with “Lavender Haze,” “Snow on the Beach” (with Lana Del Rey), “Question…?” and “Bejeweled” rounding out the Top 10.
