Taylor Swift was seen with Joe Alwyn without a ring after rumours that they were engaged.

Taylor Swift did not have an engagement ring on her finger when she went out with her rumored fiance, Joe Alwyn.

 

The 32-year-old country singer-turned-pop star and the 31-year-old British actor were seen walking through London on Thursday morning. It was the first time the public had seen them since The Sun reported on June 30 that they have been engaged “for a few months.”

 

The usually quiet couple wore dark blue shorts, sneakers, baseball caps, and sunglasses. Swift was also clearly not wearing a ring, despite rumors to the contrary.

 

The “Look What You Made Me Do” singer wore a loose, open, light blue button-down over a light grey tank top with a red-and-white striped bralette underneath. The “Favourite” star wore a plain white T-shirt. He was also seen with a big bag on his shoulder.

 

Swift and Alwyn put on masks and went into a coffee shop to get some iced coffee, which they drank while sitting down and then took to go.

 

The Sun said before that the musician only wears her “beautiful” engagement ring from her longtime boyfriend “when she’s at home” or “behind closed doors.”

 

A friend of the “Conversations with Friends” actor told the outlet that the couple “only told their inner-inner circle” about their engagement and that “only a handful of people know details about the wedding.”

 

“They want their love to stay out of the spotlight as much as possible,” the source said. “Most definitely” no media will be at their wedding, the source added.

The insider said, “It will be simple and classy, just like them.”

 

Swift and Alwyn met at the Met Gala in 2016, but they didn’t tell anyone about their relationship until May of the next year.

Since the beginning of their relationship, they have kept their relationship a secret, but there have been rumors that they are going to get married several times.

Alwyn told WSJ. Magazine in April, “If the answer [that we were engaged] was yes, I wouldn’t say, and if the answer was no, I wouldn’t say.”
