The 2023 8K Mini LED TV from Samsung starts at $5,000.

The Neo QLED 4K series starts at a relatively affordable $1,200.

Samsung has begun distributing its 2023 Neo QLED TV line, and it should come as no surprise that the top models will cost a premium. The company’s 8K, Mini LED-based QN900C (pictured above) starts at $5,000 for a 65-inch model and $6,300 for a 75-inch one. The price of the 85-inch model has yet to be determined. If you want 8K but don’t need all the bells and whistles, the QN800C starts at $3,500 for a 65-inch screen and goes up to $6,000 for an 85-inch panel. Pricing for the 75-inch version is still unknown.

You’re probably staring at a 4K TV, and you’ll be relieved to know that they’re much more inexpensive. The QN95C starts at $3,300 for a 65-inch display and goes up to $5,800 for an 85-inch monster. However, the most affordable sets are in the mid-tier QN90C series, which starts at $1,200 for a tiny 43-inch design and progresses through five further sizes to a $4,800 85-inch set. If you’re searching for (relative) value, the 55-inch QN85C starts at $1,500 and rises to $3,800 for the QN85C. Samsung hasn’t released any information about the 4K-capable QN935C, which features reduced bezels and top-firing speakers that enable Dolby Atmos without the use of external speakers.

All 2023 Neo QLED TVs are more compatible with your connected home. They include Matter Thread and SmartThings-compatible Zigbee hubs for coordinating compatible devices.

The QN900C’s selling point isn’t simply its 8K resolution. It has 4,000 nits of brightness and increased contrast, as well as HDR “remastering” for older video. All QN-series Televisions include Tiny LED as well, albeit they are expected to represent incremental upgrades over their 2022 counterparts. The standout, as it was last year, is arguably the OLED model – the S95C is your choice if you want excellent black levels and minimal lag.
