Today might be the day to buy if you’ve got your eye on one of Amazon’s high-end e-readers but haven’t yet made the purchase. The Kindle Oasis, Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, and regular Kindle Paperwhite are all enjoying substantial reductions as part of a broad sale encompassing other own-brand Amazon gadgets.
The Kindle Oasis is currently $50 less expensive at $200 than it would normally cost. The greatest e-reader currently available, the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition, is now $150 (down from $190), while the regular Kindle Paperwhite is only $110 (normally $140).
This is an excellent time to think about the expensive e-reader because the Kindle Oasis doesn’t go on sale as frequently as its competitors. The Oasis provides features that you won’t find on other Kindle devices, like a larger 300 ppi display, tactile page flip buttons, 25 front LEDs, and auto-rotating pages.
The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is 10 percent brighter than previous Paperwhite models and is the first and only Kindle with capabilities for wireless charging. Reading at night will be more comfortable for your eyes thanks to an integrated sensor that automatically adjusts the screen brightness based on the ambient light around you. It boasts an IPX8 water resistance rating, the same as the Kindle Oasis, making it ideal for reading in the bathtub or by the pool.
Last September, Amazon made changes to the Kindle Paperwhite, including a larger 6.8-inch, 300ppi, glare-free display. Additionally, it has 8GB of storage, USB-C fast charging, and an IPX8 water-resistant designation. It is speedier, enabling faster page turns.
While several Amazon products, including Kindles, dropped to record-low prices on Prime Day, today’s deal is just a little bit over those costs.
