The cause of death for ’16 and Pregnant’ star Jordan Cashmyer has been disclosed.

Jordan Cashmyer, the star of “16 and Pregnant,” died of drug intoxication on Wednesday.

According to the Maryland Department of Health’s Office of Chief Medical Examiner, Cashmyer had fentanyl, despropionyl fentanyl, and cocaine in her system when she died on Jan. 15 at the age of 26.

According to the agency, the mode of death is “undetermined,” which means it is unclear if the overdose was accidental or purposeful.

Jessica Cashmyer, Cashmyer’s stepmother, originally confirmed Jordan’s death on her father Dennis M. Cashmyer Jr.’s Facebook page, accompanying a black-and-white photo of the late reality star.

“Last night, I received a phone call that no parent ever wants to receive. Jordan, my oldest and dearest daughter, died at the age of 26. Our hearts are genuinely devastated. “No parent should ever have to go through the heartbreak of losing a child, EVER,” Jessica said in her post.

“Please keep my family in your prayers as we deal with this awful loss.” Please understand and accept our need for privacy during this time. We are surrounded by the love and support of our children, grandchild Lyla, and other family members.”

Jordan’s representative, Howard Wood, confirmed her death in a statement at the time, saying, “I got the news last night after returning from a business trip and all I can say is that this is a terribly sad day.”

“Jordan sounded happy and healthy the last time I spoke with her,” Wood stated. “I wish people had known her outside of her challenges because she was a very nice and kind-hearted person.” I’m glad for the opportunity to know and work with her throughout the years. Life wasn’t always kind to her, and I hope she’s in a better place now. “Rest in peace, beautiful girl.”

Jordan starred in the MTV reality show with her then-boyfriend, Derek Taylor, and their daughter, Genevieve “Evie” Shae Taylor, in 2014.

Jordan struggled with addiction and was jailed for drug possession in 2017, two years after turning up temporary custody of Evie to Taylor’s mother.
