The Eragon TV show on Disney+, Triple H’s new role in WWE, and more

Eragon, a well-known book for young adults, might be coming to Disney+: Our sister site Variety says that the streamer is in the early stages of making a TV show based on the Inheritance Cycle books by Christopher Paolini.

Eragon is the first book in a four-book series about a farm boy named Eragon who finds a dragon egg. When King Galbatorix finds out about the egg, he sends his servants to get it. Eragon and the dragon Saphira have to leave their home with a storyteller named Brom, who is part of a group that no longer exists called the Dragon Riders.

Paolini will be a co-writer on the possible TV series. It would be the second attempt to turn the book into a TV show after the 2006 movie starring Ed Speleers as Eragon, Rachel Weisz as Saphira, Jeremy Irons as Brom, and John Malkovich as Arya (as Galbatorix).
