Apple Watch Pro

The new Apple Watch Pro might herald a significant change in design.

According to leaked CAD images, the Apple Watch Pro has a new button on the left side and a radical redesign that probably won’t appeal to most buyers.

If a rumoured rendering of Apple’s next larger and more durable Apple Watch Pro is accurate, the device may have an additional button on the side.

The alleged Apple Watch Pro CAD images, which show a bigger display than earlier Apple Watch Models, were uncovered by frequent mobile leaker 91mobiles.

The majority of the information to date on the Apple Watch Pro has been provided by Bloomberg’s Apple watcher, Mark Gurman. Apple is anticipated to unveil the device at its “Far Out” event. He has previously claimed that it will target Garmin’s high-end rugged watches and should have a display that is roughly 7% larger than standard Apple Watch models. It’s also expected to be chunkier, which may only appeal to a small number of customers that are interested in sports, and earlier Watch bands might not fit the Pro model.

Although the new iPhones from Apple will dazzle, the charm is in the earlier generations.

While earlier rumours predicted a watch display with a nearly 2-inch diameter, 91mobiles believes that the Apple Watch Pro will be 49mm thick. Currently, the Apple Watch 7 versions range in thickness from 41 to 45 mm. So, yes, it might be chunkier than the majority of people prefer — unless they prefer Garmin’s larger, more expensive sports watches, which range in price from $1,000 to $1,500.

Another enigma has emerged as a result of the renders: there is a new button on the left side of the gadget, underneath the speaker. There isn’t a button on the left side of earlier models. Now tell me what that button does.

Gurman, who supported the veracity of the CAD renderings, hypothesises that users will be able to programme the new button to perform anything they desire, such as activate an app, feature, or exercise. In iOS 16, Apple does include a number of new exercises geared for extreme sports fans.

The case now protrudes on the right side surrounding the new Digital Crown, which is surrounded by a button just like on the older models. This is the other significant design change. Could a larger battery or more sensors fit in the extra room?

Along with new iPhone 14 versions and new AirPods Pro 2 types, Apple is probably going to announce the reasons for the button and design changes later today. This is how you may view the event.

The Apple Series 8 versions are anticipated to have the same 41mm and 45mm displays but will not include the Watch Pro’s makeover. Gurman estimates that the Pro will cost between $900 and $1,000 and will be more expensive than the two lesser variants.

Even while this is a lot to ask of an Apple Watch Pro, the company doesn’t have the majority of the market for smartwatches costing more than $500. Garmin currently dominates this market with its hefty, expensive smartwatches, but the Watch Pro may change that.
