The 53-year-old New Kids on the Block singer revealed to Entertainment Tonight that he and longtime love Harley Rodriguez married quietly.
When asked about the ring on his finger, Knight stated that “we did” marry.
“But everyone assumed we were married, so I never say yes or no because I don’t want to lie,” he added in the interview, which was published on Wednesday.
According to ET, while the couple is legally married, they have yet to celebrate due to the pandemic.
“It’s on its way,” he teased.
Rodriguez first met the former teen heartthrob, who rose to fame in the late ’80s with his bandmates, younger brother Jordan, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, and Danny Wood.
After getting engaged in 2016, the couple began planning their wedding, with the intention of marrying in 2021, but the wedding was postponed due to COVID concerns.
“We were going to get married on the farm this year under a tent and then have the ceremony in our barn,” Knight told PEOPLE last year, referring to his and Rodriguez’s sprawling property in Massachusetts. “We had everything planned out, including the caterers and the entertainment. We planned to get married by candlelight. And then it all came to a halt.”
He stated at the time that after waiting so long to marry, he and his then-fiancée considered simply eloping.

“We’re on the fence about eloping,” Knight admitted. “Or we just wait a couple more years and have a really good family celebration.”
The singer spent the majority of the summer touring with his bandmates and filming episodes for the second season of HGTV’s Farmhouse Fixer, which follows Knight and his interior designer partner Kristina Crestin as they restore historic homes throughout New England.
“This year was definitely a challenge because I had to be in both places at the same time,” the actress told PEOPLE. “This was the busiest tour schedule for the New Kids in terms of number of dates. On some days, I’d leave the stage at 11 p.m., jump on a plane right after the show, fly all night, film all day, and then jump back on a plane to go perform the next show.”

The 2022 Mixtape Tour, which featured Salt-N-Pepa, En Vogue, and Rick Astley, visited more than 50 cities across the United States.
Despite the “insane schedule,” Knight says he’s grateful for the opportunity to pursue his two passions: music and home renovation, which he’s been doing since NKOTB split in 1994.
“‘Oh my gosh, this stinks,’ I thought at the time. But, looking back, I’m proud of what I was able to accomplish. I definitely overdid it, but it was the best time. I’m just grateful that I can now balance both.”
The second season of Farmhouse Fixer premiered on HGTV and Discovery+ on Wednesday, August 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
