The Rock acknowledges that a presidential bid is no longer an option.

Johnson claims that raising his girls is what he is most passionate about.

In his career, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has held a variety of titles, including college football standout, WWE champion, and movie office sensation, but the position of president is one he no longer finds appealing.

Years after hinting at a potential White House run, Johnson told “CBS Sunday Morning” that his family comes first before politics.

It is not on the table, Johnson declared. “It is not an option. I’ll say it because it needs to have a negative counterpart: I love our country and everyone who lives in it. I also enjoy being a father. Being a father is the most important thing to me. First place. especially at this crucial juncture in the lives of my girls.”

When his oldest daughter was younger, Johnson remembers being on the road and “so busy that I was missing for a lot of years.”

He said, “And that’s what the presidency would do.” “My daughters are therefore my top priority.”

As the star of the next DC Comics film “Black Adam” and the creator of Teremana Tequila, Johnson is currently keeping himself quite busy. The WWE WrestleMania that will take place in California with a Hollywood theme next year has him the topic of ongoing whispers of a possible comeback to the ring.

Years of Johnson’s public discussion of his political ambitions ended with his decision to abandon them. He said he was “seriously considering” running for president in a 2017 interview with Ellen DeGeneres. Young Rock, the ongoing sitcom depicting his life, contains scenes from 2032 at the close of each episode, when he is running for president.

He stated to USA Today in 2021 that if the electorate so desired, he “might contemplate a presidential bid in the future.”

The only title he really cares about is “Daddy,” and those notions are already in the past.
