The woman’s AirTag was left on her car while she was shopping in Shelton.

After leaving a store in Shelton, a woman found an Apple AirTag on the trunk of her car. This makes her worry that someone may have tried to follow her.

SHELTON, Connecticut — News 8 said that a woman came back from shopping at a store in Shelton and saw an Apple AirTag sitting in her trunk. She said that the airbag could have slipped into her trunk if she had opened it without noticing it.

News 8 says the woman thought someone might have been trying to follow her home, so she told the police what happened.

An airbag is a small device about the size of a quarter that can be attached to things like keys or backpacks. If the owner loses the item, they can track it with their iPhone.
