Flaunt Weeekly

Packed venues and high energy have become highlights of all Diljit Dosanjh concerts. However, the singer’s Indore show stood out for more reasons. He dedicating his concert to the late poet and lyricist Rahat Indori, and also gave a shoutout to contemporaries AP Dhillon and Karan Aulja…
Best wishes to Karan and AP Dhillon
Giving a shout-out to his contemporaries, Diljit said, “My two brothers—Karan Aulja and AP Dhillon—have also started their tour; best of luck to them too. Ye independent music ka time shuru hai. There will be obstacles. Whenever there’s a revolution, there will be obstacles. We will continue doing our work. All the independent artists out there, double your efforts and hard work; Bhartiya sangeet ka samay aa gaya.” Highlighting the growing popularity of Indian artistes with concerts overflowing with fans, Diljit added, “Isi ko kehte hai vocal for local.”
‘Today’s programme, name of Rahat Indori Sahab’

In the course of his ongoing India tour, Diljit’s shows have faced their share of resistance. Ahead of his

Indore concert

there were calls from certain outfits to cancel the show. But the show took place and Diljit invoked the late Rahat Indori’s popular sher – Agar khilaaf hain hone do, jaan thodi hai. All this is smoke, the sky is small. Everyone’s blood is included in the soil of this place… someone’s father’s Hindustan is a little. The singer dedicated his concert to Rahat Indori and recited some more lines from Indori’s repertoire.
Visit to Chhappan Dukaan and Mahakal temple
A visit to Indore is incomplete without poha-jalebi, and what better place than Chhappan to relish it at? Diljit visited Indore’s popular food hotspot, had poha, posed for photos and even met some cyclists who were out for a morning ride. The GOAT hitmaker also took blessings at the Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple and attended the bhasm aarti there.
