Tim Roth’s son died at the age of 25: Cormac was a rising rock star.

Cormac Roth, the son of British movie star Tim Roth, died at the age of 25 after a battle with cancer.

He died on October 16, but his family did not reveal the tragic news until recently.

 

Cormac’s family said in a statement, “He was a wild and electric ball of energy, and his spirit was filled with light and goodness.” “As wild as Cormac was, he was also the embodiment of kindness.” A gentle soul who brought joy and hope to those around him.”

 

 

Cormac was described by his family as “an irrepressible, joyful, wild, and wonderful child.”

“When we think of that beautiful boy over the 25 years and 10 months that we knew him, the grief comes in waves, as do the tears and laughter,” they wrote. “We adore him. We’ll take him everywhere with us.”

In a July Instagram post, the Los Angeles-based composer and producer revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer.

 

 

“I was diagnosed with stage 3 germ cell cancer in November of 21,” Cormac wrote in the heartbreaking update, which included a video of him strumming the guitar. “I’ve been fighting it every day since then, throwing everything I’ve got at it.” Chemotherapy, high-dose chemotherapy, medication, transplants, transfusions, surgeries, and so on.”

According to Cancer.org, he had choriocarcinoma, a rare “malignant, fast-growing tumor” that develops from cells that help a “embryo attach to the uterus and help form the placenta.”

The disease, according to the post, had taken away part of the guitarist’s hearing and caused him to lose 60 pounds.

“It [the cancer] will continue its murderous path until I can stop it and kill it,” Cormac lamented.

 

 

 

Despite the debilitating symptoms, the brave man wrote that it had not diminished his “will to survive” or “love of making music.”

“It hasn’t killed me yet,” Cormac wrote. “If you or someone you love is affected [sic] by cancer, please reach out because it is an emotional rollercoaster unlike any other.” Love to you all, and please remember to do the things you enjoy. Life is brief. It’s a mess. And you never know when it’ll be you. Take care of yourself and go to the doctor. Cancer, f – k you.”

On August 16, the Bennington College graduate said he was “blown away” by all the talented people on Instagram in his final Instagram post.
