Timothée Chalamet, 28, stars as singer and songwriter Bob Dylan, 83, in the forthcoming film “A Complete Unknown” and he’s getting deeper into character as the press tour comes to an end.

For the movie’s New York City premiere on Friday night, Chalamet re-created Dylan’s iconic look from the 2003 Sundance Film Festival — blond hair included.

Indeed, the NYC native left his dark brown hair behind, rocking swooping bangs (perhaps clip-in extensions or a wig?) underneath a blue beanie.

Hairstylist Jimmy Goode, who was responsible for the honey-toned locks, posted pics on Instagramwith fans praising his work.

“Legendary! 👏,” said one while a second wrote, “ICONIC.” Another quipped, “Ate that! Bones and all,” referencing Chalamet’s 2022 cannibal movie.

He mirrored the musician’s outfit as well, donning a Celine black leather jacket, colorful plaid button-down and black jeans.

Chalamet channeled the singer to a tee by accessorizing with a similar-looking light gray plaid scarf and a pair of black leather gloves, even keeping his face stoic on the red carpet.

His bundled-up look may have been perfectly appropriate for Dylan’s Utah appearance, but the 2024 event was held inside, showing the “Dune” actor’s commitment to the bit.

Rolling Stone shared the homage on Instagrameliciting tons of comments.

“I love commitment to a bit actually,” one person said, “😂😂😂 he’s funny,” wrote another.

A third remarked, “This isn’t Barbie, Timothy” while one responded, “Now this is the kind of method dressing I can get behind,” of course referring to the trend of overly-referential premiere looks seen on Margot RobbieBlake LivelyZendaya and Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo of late.

“TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET REFERENCING TO THIS BOB DYLAN LOOK IS EVERYTHING,” one person wrote on X. GC Images

Dylan took to X to share his thoughts on the film, explaining, “Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me.”

Recently, Dylan himself shared his thoughts on X (formerly Twitter) about the film, giving Chalamet’s portrayal his stamp of approval.

“There’s a movie about me opening soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!),” Dylan wrote.

“Timothee Chalamet is starring in the lead role. Timmy’s a brilliant actor so I’m sure he’s going to be completely believable as me. Or a younger me. Or some other me.”

The film, which also stars Elle Fanning, Edward Notron and Monica Barbaro, hits theaters on Christmas.
