Tommy Lee explained why he posted a naked photo of himself online during a Mötley Crüe concert.
Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe wanted fans at the band’s Texas concert to know there was a reason he posted an NSFW Instagram photo.
The famous drummer responded to the controversy in a video posted to his Twitter account.
Instagram’s community guidelines clearly outline its policy against nudity, which Lee violated by sharing a since-deleted image of his genitals.

Lee says in the video, “We had a two-week tour break, and I went on a motherf——-g bender, bro… I got naked and posted pictures of my p—-s after getting f——-g sideways as f—k.”
Lee posted an image of himself naked in his marble bathroom on his social media account last Thursday.
“Ooooopppsss,” the 59-year-old rocker wrote in the caption of his 1.4 million followers’ post. Unlike Twitter, Instagram has a strict no-nudity or pornographic content policy.
Many of his friends and fans, including his wife, Brittany Furlan, expressed their shock on social media.

According to the New York Post, Furlan, 35, wrote in the comments, “OH MY GOD.” TikTok influencer Daniel Mac responded, “”How long will this stay up?”
Lee is also well-known for his sex tape with ex-wife Pamela Anderson in 1995. The Hulu drama series “Pam & Tommy” dramatised the sex tape’s theft and public release. Sebastian Stan and Lily James play the drummer and Anderson, respectively.
In 1995, Anderson filed for divorce from Lee. Brandon and Dylan, the former couple’s sons, are their only children.
