ViewSonic has unveiled the VX2722-4K-OLED, another professional monitor by the company. Equipped with a 27-inch panel sourced from JOLED, the VX2722-4K-OLED measures 27-inches across, outputs at 4K and is VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified. ViewSonic has included plenty of ports too, including a USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode and USB Power Delivery.

ViewSonic has introduced the VX2722-4K-OLED, a monitor whose name gives a few clues as to some of its features. Specifically, the VX2722-4K-OLED relies on a 27-inch and 60 Hz OLED panel that ViewSonic has sourced from JOLED. The display sits within comparatively thick bezels, such as the VA3209-MH and VA3209-2K-MHD that ViewSonic unveiled in October.

The VX2722-4K-OLED is superior in other areas though, such as 3,840 x 2,160-pixel native resolution and 0.1 ms GtG response times. ViewSonic has confirmed that the VX2722-4K-OLED also offers 10-bit colour depth, as well as 100% DCI-P3 and 109% Adobe RGB colour space coverages. The monitor will ship with hardware calibration options too, should you need to make any adjustments. ViewSonic adds that the monitor is VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certified, which guarantees up to 400 nits of peak brightness.

However, ViewSonic asserts that the VX2722-4K-OLED can output at 540 nits when viewing HDR content and 250 nits in SDR. Separately, ViewSonic has included four video outputs split between one DisplayPort 1.4 connection, one USB Type-C port with DP Alt Mode that also supports 96 W Power Delivery and two HDMI 2.1 ports. ViewSonic has confirmed the latter’s feature set yet, though. Rounding out the monitor’s I/O are four USB Type-A ports and a 3.5 mm jack. ViewSonic is already selling the VX2722-4K-OLED in China but is not expected to release the monitor elsewhere until Q4 2023.
