KBS 2TV’s upcoming drama “Who Is She” has unveiled its first teaser!
A remake of the famous film “Miss Granny,” which has spawned multiple remakes in other countries, “Who Is She” is a music romance drama about a woman in her 70s who suddenly transforms into a 20-year-old and gets a second chance at living out her dreams.
The newly released teaser begins with the elderly Oh Mal Soon (Kim Hae Sook) stepping up to the mic as a contestant in a singing contest. Later, as she sings her heart out at karaoke, she complains in voice-over, “Is it a crime to be old?”
To Oh Mal Soon’s surprise, she soon transforms into the young Oh Doo Ri (Jung Ji So), who looks young but talks and acts exactly like Oh Mal Soon. As she adjusts to her new body, Oh Doo Ri asks in confusion, “In your eyes, do I look like an old woman or a young miss?”
Next, idol producer Daniel Han (B1A4’s Jung Jinyoung) shocks Oh Doo Ri by telling her that she has exactly three months left until her debut. “I have faith in you,” he says, leading Oh Doo Ri to exclaim, “I’m in disbelief.” However, as she passionately practices for her girl group debut, Oh Doo Ri declares, “So what if this is a dream or a curse? When I’m this young and fresh right now.”
The teaser ends with Oh Doo Ri saying, “Call me Doo Ri. Oh Doo Ri.”
“Who Is She” will premiere on December 18 at 9:50 p.m. KST, following the conclusion of KBS’s currently airing drama “Face Me.” In the meantime, check out the new teaser below!
