Wednesday: Netflix releases the full trailer for “Wednesday,” which reveals Christina Ricci’s character and features Fred Armisen’s Uncle Fester.

It has been revealed who Christina Ricci portrays in the entire and official trailer for Wednesday, which also stars Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester. In the video above, which was posted by Netflix during the show’s New York Comic Con panel, you can watch the preview of the Tim Burton series.

The Tim Burton film Wednesday follows Wednesday Addams as she spends her years as a student at Nevermore Academy trying to master her developing psychic ability, stop a horrific killing spree that has terrorised the neighbourhood, and solve the murder mystery that involved her parents 25 years ago — all while juggling her new and complicated relationships at Nevermore.

The series’ title character is portrayed by Jenna Ortega and is scheduled to debut on November 23. Principal Larissa Weems is played by Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane is the sheriff, Percy Hynes White is Xavier Thorpe, Hunter Doohan is Tyler Galpin, Emma Myers is Enid Sinclair, Joy Sunday is Bianca Barclay, Naomi J Ogawa is Yoko Tanaka, Moosa Mostafa is Eugene Ottinger, Georgie Farmer is Ajax Petropolus, and Riki Lind (Dr. Valerie Kinbott).

In the role of Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán plays Gomez Addams, Fred Armisen plays Uncle Fester, Isaac Ordonez plays Pugsley Addams, Iman Marson plays Lucas Walker, and Lucius Hoyos plays Uncle Fester (Young Gomez). Victor Teodor Dorobantu (Thing), Calum Ross (Rowan Laslow), and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo are other cast members (Deputy Rita Santiago).

Ricci originated the character of Wednesday in the 1991 Barry Sonnenfeld film The Addams Family, and she returned to the role in the Addams Family Values sequel. She had kept her role in the Netflix series a secret, but the teaser finally makes it clear that she will play Marilyn Thornhill, a unique character created for the show.
