Iconic Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has again set tongues wagging with a snippet of her yet-to-be-released single.

The lyrics of the song have gotten many music lovers and her fans hooked already as the message it seeks to communicate happens to resonate with the current mood in the country.

In a post sighted on her various social media pages, the celebrated singer who is known in private life as Wendy Asiamah Addo is seen and heard addressing the economic hardships many Ghanaians are currently facing because of the current soaring inflation and rising costs of living.

Despite these challenges, the “Survivor” hitmaker uses the lyrics of this yet-to-be-released single to encourage her listeners.

She mentions that God will ensure that each person survives no matter the hardships they are currently in and offers comfort to the many who feel overwhelmed by the nation’s financial difficulties.

“Hope”, produced by multiple award-winning music producer, MOG, has already begun gaining traction online, as fans and followers express their eagerness for the full release.

The recently signed Peeva Drinks brand ambassador appears to have struck a chord with the masses taking into account the widespread complaints about the tough economic times.
