The “Montero” singer strutted in a shirtless ensemble ahead of MTV’s ceremony on Sunday.

 

On the MTV Video Music Awards black carpet on Sunday, Lil Nas X wore a hair-raising, peacock-like look.

The “That’s What I Want” singer, who has a history of ruffling critics’ feathers, spread his metaphorical wings before the award ceremony in a look from designer Harris Reed.

 

The feathery, expansive robe wrapped around the shirtless rapper in a circular design.

Lil Nas X wore all black, while iconic model Iman wore a white and gold ensemble to the 2021 Met Gala.

 

 

 

Lil Nas X is nominated in seven categories at the VMAs on Sunday, including “Video of the Year” with rapper Jack Harlow for his song “Industry Baby” and “Artist of the Year.”
