When a celebrity acquaintance texts her, Jamie Lee Curtis has discovered a failsafe method to confirm that it is actually them.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Curtis said, “I get a text from that guy out of the blue, and I’m really protective.”
“Jamie, this is so-and-so. I am aware that there is a lot of nonsense, fakery, and impersonation going on in the world “She went on. “So, I have some concealed inquiries. I ask my secret question immediately away so that I can identify them if they respond. And if they don’t, I am aware that it is a fishing trip.”
Curtis used Lindsay Lohan, one of her “Freaky Friday” co-stars, as an illustration.
If I tell you this, I’ll have to think of another plan for her, Curtis replied. “But my question, up until today, for Lindsay is, ‘What was the song that we were both trying to learn the rap to in the car when we were shooting the car scene?’ And that would be “Like I Love You” by Justin Timberlake.”
“There’s a rap in the middle of it by Clipse,” she continued, “and the two of us were sitting in the car starting and stopping the tape player — that’s how long ago it was — learning, ‘Ma, what you want to do? Grab a friend, I’m in front of you; I think we can have fun together.”
Curtis added that she would have a question for Daniel Craig if he ever got in touch with her “Knives Out” co-star Daniel Craig.
“What was the last gift you gave me, if Daniel had texted me for whatever reason? But I won’t tell you what it is because I’d have to adjust it with him if I did. The only person who would know it is him “She spoke.
The 63-year-old actress, who earlier this year dazzled viewers in “Everything Everywhere All At Once” with Michelle Yeoh, will next be seen on October 14 in “Halloween Ends.” She will reprise her role as Laurie Strode, the victim of Michael Myers’ heinous crimes.
