Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim, and E. Honda

Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim, and E. Honda are now included in Street Fighter 6; a closed beta test is scheduled for October 7–10

updates from the Tokyo Game Show in 2022.

From October 7 through October 10, Capcom will hold a limited beta test for Street Fighter 6 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). On the official website, applications are accessible.

Cross-play, eight playable characters, and the following game modes will all be included in the closed beta test: Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, and Training Mode.

Along with the new set of trailers, Capcom also introduced new real-time commentators Kosuke Hiraiwa and Demon Kakka and announced the closed beta test for the game’s World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub game modes.

Below are the most recent details.

With knockout combinations of new details on the World Tour and Battle Hub, the unveiling of four new characters, the new Extreme Battle mode, as well as the announcement of an imminent closed beta test, Street Fighter 6 maintains its pace.

Battle Hub and the World Tour

The first was the announcement of significant upgrades to World Tour and Battle Hub, which included

World Tour – Players will have a wide range of customisation options to design their own avatars that reflect their unique tastes and personalities. Players will develop their avatar’s strength through Street Fights with other NPCs as they advance through the immersive story mode. They will also encounter experts like Ryu and Chun-Li who will teach them specific moves from their own repertoires. The people who live there and their adversaries never back down from a fight, and they can go between dialogue and combat with ease.
Battle Hub: Gamers can enter the Battle Hub with their personalised avatars to find matches with other players from around the world as well as online competitions. Two players can start a match with the entire Battle Hub as their audience when they sit down at one of the arcade cabinets that are situated back-to-back across the Battle Hub. Retro Capcom favourites like Street Fighter II and Final Fight can also be played by players by visiting the Game Center.

Unknown Characters

The inclusion of four World Warriors who were returning to the streets came in second on the bill:

Ken, a former US National Fighting Champion and former vice president of the Masters Foundation, was compelled to leave his family and career and flee after being accused of planning a crime. Ken is a legendary character in the Street Fighter series, and he has a rich repertoire of moves that are always being updated.

In addition to his trademark Electric Thunder and Rolling Attacks, Blanka also has brand-new Blanka-chan Bombs and his Lightning Beast move is back. Blanka is a good-hearted adventure tour guide and defender of nature.

– Dhalsim Dhalsim, a monk and expert in yoga, uses his previous experience with fire to perfect yoga moves including Yoga Fire, Yoga Arch, Yoga Comet, and Yoga Flame.
Traveling sumo wrestler E. Honda combines the old with the new, bringing back his signature manoeuvres like the Hundred Hand Slap and Sumo Headbutt as well as his brand-new Sumo Dash, in which he advances while performing the classic sumo shuffle.

Brutal Battle Mode

The brand-new Extreme Battle mode joins the Fighting Ground to provide a fresh approach to spicing up battles with unusual requirements. New Rules & Gimmicks that make every match a fun experience for everyone define these hectic and quick conflicts. Gimmicks, such a stampeding bull randomly interrupting a match, provide a new degree of entertainment while rules specify the conditions for players to win.

Kosuke Hiraiwa, a play-by-play commentator, and His Excellency Demon Kakka were also unveiled as two additional commentators for the Real-Time Commentary feature (color commentator). The well-known esports announcer Kosuke Hiraiwa contributes his knowledge and professionalism to Street Fighter 6. Seikima-II, a Japanese heavy metal band, is led by H.E.Demon Kakka. While they will be commentating your matches in Japanese, if any of the 13 other languages are chosen, there will be matching subtitles displayed on the screen.

Private Beta Test

Last but not least, a limited beta test with cross-play enabled will run from October 7 to October 10, 2022 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam! Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Hub Match, Open Tournament, Extreme Battle, Game Center, and Training Mode will all be available during the closed beta test. During the test, eight characters—Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Guile, Kimberly, Juri, and Ken—will be playable.

In 2023, Street Fighter 6 will be released for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. Go here to learn more about the game.
