Music icon Rod Stewart and TV presenter and Special Constable Lady Penny Stewart have been announced as Ambassadors for The King’s Foundation as celebrations for charity’s 35th anniversary year begin.
The announcement comes as Rod and Penny visited charity headquarters, Dumfries House.
As per the foundation, Rod and Lady Stewart are looking forward to continuing to learn about the work of the charity, having been inspired by meeting students, alumni and beneficiaries at the organisation’s annual Awards Ceremony at St James’s Palace in June 2024.
During their visit, Lady Stewart met staff at the Health and Wellbeing Centre on the Dumfries House to hear about the range of perimenopause programmes and support groups available on site for the local community.
The King’s Foundation shared the news on its official X, formerly Twitter handle, saying “Sir Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster become Ambassadors for The King’s Foundation” followed by a heart emoticon.
“We’re looking forward to working together on our mission to build sustainable communities and transform lives,” it further said.
