Leaked images from the Pixel 7 concentrate in on camera quality and hint to cinematic blur

There are many more Pixel Watch products available here.

Consider this a wind change as we leave the weekend after receiving a heavy dose of Pixel Watch leaks: the Pixel 7 is being revealed ahead of Google’s launch on Thursday with leaked specs and advertisements. Okay, perhaps we’ll also bring some fresh Pixel Watch information in for dessert.

The specification documents were provided to the Google News Telegram channel (through 9to5Google) by a Taiwanese carrier, and one of the sheets was translated. They provide some clarification to certain previously unknown features of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

Here, we specifically learn that the zoom numbers have increased from the Pixel 6 series handsets despite no change to the back cameras. The Pixel 7’s 50MP general-purpose sensor, which could create Super Res Zoom stills at a 7x magnification on the Pixel 6’s model, can achieve an 8x magnification. The Pixel 7 Pro’s 48MP telephoto lens will be superior to the Pixel 6 Pro’s 4x optical zoom and up to 20x with some digital augmentation due to its multiples of 6x and 30x, respectively. Once the review units are in circulation, be prepared for additional camera comparisons.

Other details, like as the display size and RAM choices, have already been disclosed. It is predicted that both phones would be able to produce “Movie Motion Blur,” which is meant to mimic the Cinematic Mode of recent iPhone models. The only gadget advertised with Macro Focus is the Pixel 7 Pro.

These two functionalities are demonstrated in apparent post-release marketing advertisements that were released by SnoopyTech on Twitter (via 9to5Google). As stated in the Pixel 7 Pro advertisement, “Movie Motion Blur” will actually be referred to as “Cinematic Blur.” It might surpass the Action Pan on the Pixel 6. The advertisements appear to be based on the Google YouTube ad that was officially released and can be viewed below.

And in case you were wondering, the Pixel Watch is indeed featured in a leaked advertisement. Calling, NFC payments, and managing smart home equipment are among of the highlights.

This brings us back to Google News on Telegram with another post, possibly from the same source bringing in materials from a Taiwanese carrier, showing off even more marketing materials for the Pixel Watch. These include confirmation of 24-hour battery life and a “What’s in the box” diagram that notes the inclusion of two band sizes as well as the magnetic charging cradle with USB-C connector.

I have a feeling the upcoming three days will provide lots of surprises for all of you who are nervously awaiting each new development and biting your fingers.
