Little Rani Rose Fujikawa is a member of Hollywood aristocracy as the granddaughter of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and the grandchild of Kate Hudson. She decided to go all out for the child’s fourth birthday with a princess-themed party complete with famous grandparents dressed to the nines.
In a photo posted by Hawn, also known as Glamma to her grandchildren, the Oscar winner and her longtime companion stand alongside Rani, who is dressed in her own Disney-worthy ball gown, while they are costumed as Cinderella and Prince Charming.
Happy fourth birthday to our beloved Rani Rose, Hawn said in the photo’s description. “You truly are the queen! As long as the prince is by my side at all times, I’ll take lady in waiting every single day! WE HEART YOU!”
The couple’s Instagram followers were impressed with their costumes, and one commented that they were “the world’s best grandparents!!!”
Russell was still in his teens when they first met on the set of the Disney musical The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band in 1968, but their relationship didn’t blossom until they co-starred in Swing Shift, which began production in 1983. Hawn, now 76, and Russell, 71, were both divorced at that point and had children. Nearly 40 years later, the Overboard actors’ current family consists of Wyatt, 36, an actor from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawn’s children Kate and Oliver (from her marriage to Bill Hudson), Russell’s son Boston (from his marriage to Season Hubley), and their joint son Boston.
The never-married celebrities told CBS’s Tracy Smith that their relationship is “no mystery” in 2020.
“You two desire one other’s company, Hawn stated. You must desire to be together.
Over the years, things haven’t always gone smoothly, but she said that “You can actually make it through a relationship and say, “I’m so pleased I got through whatever stage that was,” as you get older. Relationships go through phases, some of which are incredibly trying. But having a family is the sweetest thing in the world, and it’s priceless.
Hawn doesn’t just remain young by dressing up. The First Wives Club star can be seen joyfully jumping around on a little trampoline to Dua Lipa in a video posted this week by her oldest son, actor Oliver Hudson.
Hudson said, “She swears I came out of her belly but I’m not buying it.
