Fans voiced their concern for Ray J after he released and later removed videos in which he appeared to be thinking about suicide.
In one video, the “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” alum, 41, appeared to be sitting on some kind of elevated surface while he zoomed in on a bright orange full moon.
He captioned the since-deleted video on Thursday night with the phrase “If it wasn’t 4 my Kidz I would jump over & die tonight.”
In a another video, the singer could be seen leaning on a ledge while the camera pans to the ground below and the cliff encircling him.
“SHOULD I just leave now and finish the dialogue? On Thursday night, he captioned the video, which he later deleted.
Additionally, Ray J—real name William Ray Norwood Jr.—posted comparable footage and images of the scene on his Instagram Stories.
He captioned one video of the moon “IF I DIE TONIGHT,” while adding in another video of the ground below him, “trying to figure it out – maybe this life was a illusion – maybe the next life was my real reality.”
According to a close friend of Ray J, “everything is OK” and “fine” with him. The insider also stated that his on-again, off-again wife, Princess Love, was there when the tapes were shot.
The insider said, “He considered posting a statement about it on Instagram but changed his mind and is being evasive.
an agent for Ray J declined to comment when Page Six requested it.
Fans voiced their worry about the TV celebrity even after he erased the videos before Friday morning.
“Sending prayers of strength to Ray J & I hope he has people in his corner showering him with love and support,” one fan tweeted on Friday.

Another supporter said, “Prayers up for Ray J the world still needs you.”
Someone else said, “Damn I hope Ray J gets him some counselling so he can get through those issues.
Another supporter wrote on Twitter, “@RayJ buddy remember #youurafighternotaquitter so keep fighting don’t let the media win let them know who @RayJ actually is.”
Before his most recent posts, Ray J focused his Instagram profile on his two children, son Epik Ray, 2, and daughter Melody Love, 4, who he shares with Princess Love.
The vocalist of “Turnin’ Me On” has had a difficult few months. In May, Ray J claimed that Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian, his ex-girlfriend, conspired with him to publicise the couple’s infamous 2007 sex tape.
Before Jenner refuted the allegations during a lie-detector test on “The Late Late Show with James Corden” in September, the Kardashians remained silent about the allegations for several months.
In response, Ray J claimed that they had actually recorded three sex tapes and that the first sex tape contract had paid him and Kardashian $400,000 each.
