The Horrors have shared details of their new album ‘Night Life’.
The band premiering an all-new line-up at a flurry of intimate shows recently, including a road block set at East London venue the Shacklewell Arms for its 20th birthday party.
Reconfigured around founding members vocalist Faris Badwan and bassist Rhys Webb, the two are joined by Amelia Kidd on keys and Telegram’s Jordan Cook on drums.
New album ‘Night Life’ began as a series of demos crafted at Rhys Webb’s flat, before the band journeyed to Los Angeles to work with producer Yves Rothman (Yves Tumor, Blondshell).
Completed in London, ‘Night Life’ lands on March 21st – pre-orders are open – with new single ‘The Silence That Remains’ out now.
A Gothic journey through East London environs after midnight, it blends some of the band’s core influences – Cure-esque drama, charred synths, broken glass guitar lines – with fresh twists.
Featuring duet vocals between Faris Badwan and new keyboardist Amelia Kidd, the group comment…
‘The Silence That Remains’ is a 3am insomnia walk through the city, retracing our steps and putting the past to bed. Our new chapter is beginning and we’re looking forward to taking you with us. The Horrors are never-ending…
