Since the sought-after Sony Bravia A80K will probably be replaced by its 2023 successor in a few months, bargain hunters can now grab this beautiful OLED TV for US$1,000 or 31% off its original list price thanks to a coupon code on eBay.
Most home theater enthusiasts with large living rooms are probably well aware of the fact that 77-inch OLED TVs, such as the popular Sony Bravia A80K, are significantly more expensive than their smaller 55 and 65-inch counterparts. However, a new deal on eBay brings the aforementioned Sony OLED in this exact size another step closer to the US$2,000 threshold.
Specifically, the well-known online retailer BuyDig is currently selling the 77-inch version of the Sony Bravia A80K for just US$2,198 including free shipping on eBay. This deal beats Amazon’s current price by a whopping US$500. In order to get this price, buyers have to apply the coupon “NEWYEARTWENTY” after the 4K OLED TV has been added to the shopping cart. Please also note that this code will expire on January 15, and that supply of the Sony A80K may be limited because this 2022 set is approaching the end of its market cycle.
We further recommend prospective buyers check out Rtings’ comprehensive review of the Sony A80K, which ended with an excellent overall rating of 8.8 out of 10 possible points. Besides the typical OLED characteristics such as perfect black levels and an infinite contrast ratio, this television is great at upscaling lower resolution content, but its HDR peak brightness of up to 700 nits falls a bit short in comparison to high-end competitors from LG and Samsung. However, with a massive 31% discount, the Sony A80K is a very decent pickup for buyers who are currently in the market for a gigantic 77-inch OLED TV.
